More than 25 years
of renewable energy generation in Catalonia
Since its inception, the Les Colladetes Wind Farm, located in the municipality of El Perelló (Tarragona), has been one of Catalonia’s pioneering renewable energy projects. Originally developed with 54 wind turbines and a total installed capacity of 36.6 MW, the wind farm was designed to reduce reliance on fossil fuel-based energy sources in the region while increasing renewable energy capacity.
Commissioning of Les Colladetes Wind Farm I, featuring 36 wind turbines with a total installed capacity of 24.75 MW.
Commissioning of Les Colladetes Wind Farm II, adding 18 wind turbines with a capacity of 11.88 MW. This expansion completed the project with a total of 54 wind turbines and a cumulative installed capacity of 36.6 MW.
Decommissioning of the 54 wind turbines at Les Colladetes Wind Farm as part of the repowering project.
Commissioning of the Les Colladetes Wind Farm following the repowering, with 6 wind turbines and a total installed capacity of 36.6 MW.
